On Saturday, September 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Goodyear Mold Plant and Goodyear Mounting Solutions are opening their doors to the public!

Discover two of Goodyear's factories in Colmar-Berg for a unique experience at the heart of the tire industry.

Since the early 1970s, the Mold Plant has been producing aluminum and steel molds for vulcanization presses, which are then delivered to all Goodyear production sites in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Goodyear Mounting Solutions, equipped with two fully automated wheel assembly machines, supplies truck and trailer manufacturers throughout Europe.

Experts will guide you throughout the day through the various stages of tire mold manufacturing and automated assembly of heavy-duty tires on rims.

For safety reasons, please wear closed-toe shoes and close-fitting clothing (no loose clothing).

The necessary protective equipment (goggles, safety vest, and ear protection) will be provided. Please also note that children must be supervised by their parents.
